Aeronet Worldwide BBB Business Review
CTPAT

Thank you for sending us your formal claim. We will review the claim, and accompanying documents, to determine the outcome.

Note that if insurance was purchased for this shipment, we may be forwarding this claim to the insurance company for their direct handling. We will keep all necessary parties informed of the claim’s status from the insurance company. All submitted claims will be processed in the order it was received. Claims are usually finalized within 30 days of receipt depending on the nature of the damages. If no insurance was purchased, Aeronet Worldwide’s contractual liability limits may be applied:

Aeronet Worldwide Liability:

  • Domestic Air or Ground (Non-Truckload): $0.50 per pound, or $50.00, whichever is greater. Minimum of $50.00 on Aeronet Worldwide shipment damage not noted at the time of shipment.
  • International Air: $9.07 per lb, $20.00 per kg. Maximum of $500.00.
  • Ocean: $500.00 per pkg or CFU, $2.00 per kg. (This is based on the description on the ocean BOL.) Limited maximum of $2,500.00.

Note that it is Aeronet Worldwide’s policy to receive payment, in full, for shipments before a settlement of any kind can be determined for any claims on those shipments.

Damaged Claims – Depending on Aeronet Worldwide’s liability, an inspection may be needed, but that will not be determined until all the information is received. Ensure that the integrity of the freight is maintained (including the packaging material) until that has been determined.

Shortage Claims – If you have not already reached out to your Aeronet Worldwide representative in regards to the shortage, notify them by sending an email to Claims@Aeronet.com, in order for a trace to be initiated, if necessary.
