Aeronet Worldwide performed a multi-site asset recovery project for a large school district in Texas.
Aeronet Worldwide’s client leases computer equipment to businesses and school districts. Depending on the type of technology being used, and the length of the lease, the result is various equipment needing to be returned each year. We routinely assist our client, through asset recovery services, to pick up this equipment from the schools. In the case where school districts provide new laptops or tablets to their students every year, this turns out to be a complex and sizeable annual process.

We routinely assist our client, through asset recovery services, to pick up this equipment from the schools. In the case where school districts provide new laptops or tablets to their students every year, this turns out to be a complex and sizeable annual process.
In one such case, Aeronet performed an asset recovery project of computer equipment for a large school district in Texas. We picked up the equipment from the school warehouse, as well as the individual schools. This totaled 27 different locations in four different cities throughout the state.
The equipment was picked up, counted, packaged for transport, then moved to the client’s warehouse in New Mexico. By the end of the project, Aeronet had moved five truckloads of equipment. This included thousands of laptops, desktops, and charging carts.
School district leadership was so impressed by the speed and efficiency of the project, that they noted to our client that the execution of it all was the best they had seen.
