Aeronet Worldwide provided large-scale, time-definite solutions for GameStop.
GameStop is the largest video game retailer in the world. It’s the go-to source for gamers using Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo consoles, whether it be for new game titles or even trade-ins.
In the early days of providing services for GameStop, Aeronet Worldwide performed daily hot shots and ground shipping. In 2022, this expanded to warehousing and storage opportunities. At that time, port congestion was all too common around the globe. After incoming containers were initially stalled outside of the ports, they would arrive so fast that GameStop would run out of space in their Grapevine (Texas) and Shepherdsville (Kentucky) facilities. Aeronet was well positioned to provide logistics solutions, given the location of our Dallas station.

Aeronet was well positioned to provide logistics solutions, given the location of our Dallas station.
This resulted in Aeronet being awarded a 27-truckload project of transferring all product being transported between Reno (Nevada), Grapevine, Shepherdsville, and York (Pennsylvania) over a three-week period. This project was not without its demands, including strict time-definite requirements and last-minute re-routing of cargo. Given the volume being handled, we even had to utilize 147 pallet positions at one of our California facilities. However, the Aeronet Dallas team responded and excelled in order to help GameStop solve their inventory challenge!
By providing outstanding program management, being flexible, and guiding the project to a successful completion, Aeronet gained GameStop’s trust. This has led to even more opportunities with them, including utilizing storage trailers for facilities that were out of warehouse space, and even drayage service for trailers coming into the Port of Houston.
