How Aeronet provided rapid solutions to handle a frenetic sales period.
Aeronet Worldwide’s client (unnamed in this case study) is a digital media company focused on technology. In addition to producing content that features tech reviews, unboxings, and news, they also sell merchandise online. They offer a variety of clothing, accessories, and tech-related items, such as backpacks, water bottles, screwdriver sets, cable management systems, and apparel.
When this opportunity came to Aeronet’s Atlanta facility, it brought with it a bold growth trajectory … and a series of challenges. Originally, our team had been preparing to fulfill approximately 12,000 direct-to-consumer (D2C) domestic orders per month, with ample time to onboard and train the fulfillment team. However, the timeline accelerated rapidly, requiring immediate ramp-up during the client’s busiest sales week of the year – with an initial projection of 20,000 orders in just seven days!

Despite the compressed timeline, the Aeronet Atlanta team delivered. They navigated hardware and software issues, arranged for pick-ups, prepared contingencies, and processed multiple surprise inbound deliveries – such as 5,000 shirts at a time that needed to be inventoried, folded, bagged, labeled, and shelved the same day. During that hectic time, the team had a solution for every obstacle and exceeded the client’s expectations.
Aeronet now manages 100% of their ocean and air import/exports through Aeronet Los Angeles, oversees FTL and LTL moves from Canada to Atlanta, and processes the afore mentioned 12,000 domestic D2C orders per month.
Key to the success of this partnership has been Aeronet’s commitment to continuous process improvement (CPI) and open communication. The team adapts swiftly, refines processes to boost efficiency, and maintains honesty with the client when challenges arise, reinforcing a foundation of trust.
In every sense, this account showcases how Aeronet can build sustainable and scalable partnerships for our clients.
