Our dear colleague and friend Robert “Bob” Turner passed on away on December 12, at the age of 58. Bob has been part of our Aeronet family for 36 years.
He wasn’t just a coworker, he was a steady presence, and someone who truly cared about the people around him. He celebrated our successes, supported us through challenges, and treated everyone with respect and warmth.
A native of Idaho, and a former football player, Bob attended Boise State University. Shortly after graduating college, with a degree in Business Administration and Management, he moved to California. That’s where he was hired by Aeronet’s founder Tony Pereira. Tony would mentor Bob, which resulted in him becoming a versatile and valuable part of the company, performing key roles in operations, sales, and in senior management. He was also the longtime General Manager of Aeronet’s San Jose station.
In addition to the kindness he showed everyone, Bob will be remembered for his stories from the industry, chatting about football, fishing, and life. But most of all, he will be remembered for his loyalty, and he will be missed by all that knew him and loved him.
