A memorandum of understanding (MoU) covering technical cooperation in the rail sector has been signed by Sweden and India. The MoU’s main objectives are to develop cooperation activities in the railway sector to promote efficiency and sustainability, as well as to achieve concrete results with regard to bilateral trade, investment, research and technology transfer.
The pact will remain in force for five years from the date of signing. It can be extended for a further period of five years with the written consent of both sides.
