"In response to both external and internal requirements, Aeronet has formed the department of Risk Management and Compliance. As head of this department, Ed's responsibilities include all issues related to FAA, TSA and IATA compliance, company security, internal and client risk assessment programs, all insurance related issues, facilities, equipment, supplies acquisitions and employee induction," stated Tony Medeiros, President and C.O.O. of Aeronet. "In order for Aeronet to continue to successfully sustain its growth and expansion plans, we must have programs in place that address these critical fields. Risk Management programs, both internal and client focused, are now mandatory in order to compete in the marketplace, compliance with regulatory requirements as well as company policy and procedures are equally critical.. We have now brought these areas all under one roof for a more efficient management, supervision and compliance," added Medeiros, " I am extremely enthused at the prospect of having Ed lead this effort at Aeronet." |
